The infamous "No Kill" rule has been rewritten.
It was changed after complaints that characters were acting as if they couldn't be killed in certain situations (such as fights) because the mun wouldn't want them to die. No more. If a character is put in a situation where s/he might be killed, and that is the logical conclusion, then the character will be killed, period. Ops will still watch play and make sure no one is out of line.
It is #3 in the OOC rules:
3. Death, Injuries, and Alterations will be decided by two factors: the affected mun and logic. Previously this rule was known as the "no kill" rule, but it was used and abused by munchkins and people hiding behind it as a shield to protect characters that otherwise wouldn't survive. This isn't logical so the rule has been rewritten. Please note the changes. Kaerwyn's RP is heavily based upon logic, and if you, by logic, put your character in a situation where s/he might be killed, then you are giving your consent by participating. You also give consent to being killed in some situations based on the character's actions, words, body language, location, etc. While the mun still determines the overall outcome, if logic dictates otherwise, the ops will call you on it.
