We've decided, to help our sanity and yours, to add a new thread prefix for a specific kind of Rifting Trip called the "Quick Rift".
We know a lot of you want to send your characters offworld for little things, and you don't want to wait for us to approve it (Hell, some characters might leave on their own immediately as soon as they think about what they need to do offworld).
The QuickRift designation is only to be used when the character comes back with no new abilities or significant items. Weapons are right out. They can return with some useless items (or stuff easily found on Kaerwyn) or stuff they might need (Such as Norman needs contacts, and he'll probably have to go home to get them).
These rifting trips will not require approval. Just post them. An op will look over it to make sure everything is cool, but you don't need to wait for approval to leave.
Please note that this should also be used when a character goes to worlds with the /intention/ of buying or gaining items (But for some reason they come back empty handed). This would go for plot situations ("Hey if we go to my world we can get ____ to solve this crisis") as well. (Obviously they fail to get ____).
