In order to get the attention of ops for approvals of things they might be missing, we have decided to implement the Post-Reporting feature.

Post-Reporting on other forums is supposed to be used for rule violations and such, but not here. So don't worry about that. When you report a post a copy of the report, the post itself, and the link back to the post is made in an op-only forum. It lights up as a 'new post' like the other forums, and it's more likely the ops will see it (Especially having it all in one nice little spot).

The report button looks like this: http://forums.kaerwyn.org/images/blackhead/buttons/report.gif and mousing over it will tell you "Report Post". It's at the top of every post made.

Of course, in order for this to be useful, we can't let it get cluttered. There are some things you can do to help:

#1. Don't report brand new CS's. CS's get all the attention (And that's probably why other things are getting overlooked). Don't post-report a CS unless no one has replied within 3 days.

#2. We'd prefer you didn't post anything that's in the Chaos Rift. That's a forum to help get CS's in shape through peer review (aka, any other player). It would take away time from the ops to look over these threads. So don't post-report these.

#3. Post-CS approvals (Such as new items, spells, conditions, etc), Rifting Trips, Leaps, and anything else that requires op attention should be Post-Reported immediately. This lets us know we need to look at it quickly.

#4. For Rifts, Leaps, or multiple-player plots only the original poster should report. It'll hurt our response time if several people report the same post.

#5. It will have a text area that you need to fill out when you report a post. So just tell us what you need us to look at, or what you need for us to do. Just reporting a post with nothing on it will confuse us. And we are easily confused!

#6. Post-reports are based on the actual post (such as replies) not threads. So if you have, for example, a spell you want approved, don't post-report the CS. Post-report the reply that the spell information is in. If you are post-reporting a rifting trip, please post-report the flight plan. If you are post-reporting items brought back that are listed in a reply, post-report the reply.

Now just as a warning, when you report a post, it will not give you any kind of acknowledgment that it was post-reported. It will just redirect you back to the original thread. So don't assume it didn't work, it probably did, so don't send in another post-report 'just in case'.
