Just got news from the hosting service:

Network Status:
Helix IRCD issue 6-17-2010 10:00 am CST
We are aware of the issue with the Helix IRCD server and out technicians are working on the system at this time, so there is no need to open a support ticket for this..
At approx 9:00 am CST this morning the system's outbound traffic dropped and the system became inaccessible remotely, our data-center technicians think that this issue is related to something in the hard drive as the system cannot read files beyond a certain stage of the boot process...
Clients should have their latest backups ready in the event that the drive is toast!!
This of course is not a guarantee that it is, but just to be on the safe side, clients should be prepared for this possibility...
We will keep client's updated through the network status message...

Funny, the last time this happened, they said they'd be making backups. Oh well. I'm not sure when the last backup I took was. So we'll just have to go from there.

irc.wayah.net is still up, (Where Fyrewolf is), so everyone should be using that in the meantime.

Wee, an update (Took long enough, still not fixed.)

6-18-2010 3:00 pm CST Update:
I have managed to recover almost all of the files and folders in the home directory, and have created Tarbals of the user's files.
I am working on moving client's existing IP addresses and then their accounts over to an existing IRCD system.
I will continue to post updates here as I reach certain waypoints in the process.

Thankfully our information wasn't lost, that or they did have a backup afterall. They did have to move the account to a different server, so the IP changed. The server is up and running again (Along with the service bots - chanserv, nickserv, etc). But it might take some time for the new IP to propagate to the new system.

I can currently connect to it on roadrunner. But if you still can't connect to it, keep using Wayah.net
