Some of you might have noticed that some of our regulars have a + infront of their nicknames. This is not a new rank of power per se, this does not give them ability to kick or ban, or do any kind of admin functions at all.
The "+" means that they are active, regular RPers that I've seen RPing significantly for the past several months. They're people that newbies can look to for those with experience if they need help and no ops are around. This however does not mean that you shouldn't ask the ops WHEN they are on, or any ruling a + user makes is a "legal call". This is simple a badge of "I've been around for a while, I know the ropes."
To those of you given the +, it will only be given to one nickname, and likely the nick you use most. You must A. register with nickserv. B. Wait for me to tell you that you've been added and C. Identify with nickserv BEFORE joining the channel. If you're using the javachat regularly, or don't ID yourself before you join, you'll have to leave and rejoin before you can get your +. Please do not pester the ops to give you the + as it's annoying.
That's all for now.
